Autism Research Victory Sets Pace Of Future

(Newswire.net — July 7, 2014) Fountain Hills, AZ —  The “Autism CARES Act”, which was authored by Republican Chris Smith, was reauthorized by the House in late June.   Since there is no companion bill in the Senate, they will likely simply take up the House bill, paving the way for future Autism research to unfold.

This is great news for Autism advocates, parents, and caregivers alike.  This also creates a surge of interest and focus to accelerate tapping into a much deeper understanding of how to treat and possibly even cure Autism.

As many people are aware, the rates of Autism have been increasing remarkable.  Most statistics show that 1 in 68 children in the US have some form of Autism Spectrum Disorder.  With no cure available, continued research funds and attention are mandatory.

This particular bill was initiated in 2000, when Chris Smith began the very first federal program to address Autism.  The bill quickly received support from various politicians and constituencies, since most people know someone who is impacted by this condition.

As the bill went into session this round, there were more than 80 sponsors, representing both Democrats and Republicans.  Clearly, Autism is a health condition that impacts all people, all across the nation.

While medical research is actively underway, the true cause and pathophysiology of Autism is still a mystery.  Many theories exist, which are actively being studied.  Medical doctors typically have little to offer parents, who many times explore elsewhere for supportive therapies.

Quality supplements have provided relief to many parents of children with ASD.  While the mechanism is not fully clear, scientists feel that the noted faulty gluten digestion in children with ASD is partially responsible.

There is also a noted defect in the casein (dairy) digestion of Autistic children.  Scientists have proven that by providing deficient enzymes, to address both the gluten and casein issues, the classic autistic behaviors improve.

One company at the forefront of this research, Purely Scientific, has combined a patented form of the enzyme complex known as DDP-IV, along with high quality probiotics.  This specific formulation has produced remarkable results in clinical studies with Autistic children.

Once previously available only to doctors, this formula, “3-in-1 Digestive Formula” is now available to the public on Amazon.

Society is encouraged by these nutritional advances, and eagerly awaits the day when a true Autism cure can be identified.  The Autism CARES Act is one positive step in the right direction.
