(Newswire.net — December 18, 2014)  — Scott Tucker will perform an authentic Japanese tea ceremony at Balance Tai Chi studio this December. Members of the public are encouraged to watch as well as participate with a full Q&A with Tucker following the ceremony.

“We are really excited to be part of this event,” says Helen Wilson, owner of the Balance Tai Chi Studio. “Tucker not only has the book knowledge, but the real life experience you don’t find often in the states.”

Tucker has travelled extensively in Japan and China since childhood, studying both culture and religion. His latest book is a collection of first hand stories from his most recent trip abroad.

“His writing style makes you really feel as if you’re in another world, sitting in the serenity of someone’s hundred-year old home having tea,” says Greg Nuntz, Tucker’s editor. “The upcoming tea ceremony should give people a good idea of what to expect in the book. It will also give them a chance to see firsthand Scott’s ability to connect effortlessly with people, facilitating learning at a much faster pace than normal.”

The tea ceremony will be held several times during the first week in February. Registration is not required, but recommended for those wishing to participate in the actual ceremony. Each ceremony will close with ample time for questions and hands-on practice with Tucker and assistants. Registration details can be found on both Scott Tucker’s and Balance Tai Chi’s website.
