Keto Is the King of Diets

(Newswire.net — April 16, 2018) Cheyenne, Wyoming — It’s interesting that with all that’s known about obesity – cause and consequences – there are more people with this disease now than ever before. Lack of exercise and poor eating habits are at the center of obesity, and those who are genetically predisposed to becoming obese need to be even more mindful.

“Updated August 31, 2017: According to the most recent data, adult obesity rates now exceed 35 percent in five states, 30 percent in 25 states, and 25 percent in 46 states,” discloses The State of Obesity, an advocacy group campaigning under the slogan Better Policies for a Healthier America. “West Virginia has the highest adult obesity rate at 37.7 percent and Colorado has the lowest at 22.3 percent. The adult obesity rate decreased in Kansas between 2015 and 2016, increased in Colorado, Minnesota, Washington, and West Virginia, and remained stable in the rest of states.”

The numbers are alarming and the health system is inundated by a multitude of spin off issues resulting from obesity. The standard American diet is killing Americans and it is about time things change for the better. There are several diets to choose from but the ketogenic diet is the most effortless and efficient way to shed pounds and keep them off.

“Different methods for reducing weight using reduced calorie and fat intake combined with exercise have failed to show sustained long-term effects,” explains the U.S. National Library of Medicine research paper entitled Long-term effects of a ketogenic diet in obese patients. “Recent studies from various laboratories, including our own, have shown that a high fat diet rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids (ketogenic diet) is quite effective in reducing body weight and the risk factors for various chronic diseases. The present study shows the beneficial effects of a long-term ketogenic diet.”

As the data concludes, keto diets are best for long term weight control and it’s something many celebrities have been catching wind of. Everyone from Vanessa Hudgens to even Kourtney Kardashian is on a keto diet now, and unlike other diet trends, the ketogenic diet is proven by science and is here to stay for sure.

The “keto” in a ketogenic diet comes from the fact that it makes the body produce small fuel molecules called “ketones”,” explains DietDoctor.com. “This is an alternative fuel for the body, used when blood sugar (glucose) is in short supply. Ketones are produced if you eat very few carbs (that are quickly broken down into blood sugar) and only moderate amounts of protein (excess protein can also be converted to blood sugar). On a ketogenic diet, your entire body switches its fuel supply to run almost entirely on fat. Insulin levels become very low, and fat burning increases dramatically. It becomes easy to access your fat stores to burn them off. This is great if you’re trying to lose weight, but there are also other less obvious benefits, such as less hunger and a steady supply of energy, keeping you alert and focused.”

It’s awesome to learn just how the body makes provision for it to rebound. Ketosis is the name of the process in which ketones are created for the purpose of breaking down fat cell for energy and exogenous ketones can also do the trick. The HealthyWiser™ KetoFast™ Supplement Powder is a noteworthy option as it supports brain health, boosts energy levels and enhances nutrient absorption, while inducing a healthy state of ketosis. By the way, it’s always good to track just how much ketone is being generated on a keto diet so regular testing with the HealthyWiser™ Urinalysis Ketone Strips is well advised.
