(Newswire.net — May 18, 2018) Orlando, FL — Health experts have been warning the public against a variety of health threats affecting the heart. While it is often unhealthy diet and lifestyle that are often blamed for heart disease, it appears that there are other major causes.

In a study, it was found that the long-lasting damage of a broken heart may be the same as the one caused by a heart attack.

According to scientists, severe emotional stress may trigger a sudden heart condition, which is like the one caused by a heart attack.

In the United Kingdom, there is a minimum of 3,000 people who suffer from Takotsubo cardiomyopathy, or a broken heart syndrome. This condition is normally triggered by bereavement and some other traumatic life events.

The process of the attacks leads to muscle weakening. It weakens severely enough that it no longer functions as effectively. Scientists at the University of Aberdeen reveal that these effects may stay permanently, like that of a heart attack.

This study was funded by the British Heart Foundation (BHF). It involved 37 Takostubo patients who were examined using ultrasound and MRI scans for an average span of two years. The findings were presented at the American Heart Association Scientific Sessions in Anaheim, California.

The investigators found that the participants suffered from untreatable damage to the muscle tissue of the heart. This caused reduced elasticity, which inhibited full contraction every time the heart beats.

The Harvard Medical School conducted a study, and it was found that over 90 percent of all reported cases of Takostubo are women from ages 58 to 75 years.

Professor Jeremy Pearson, associate medical director at BHF says that Takotsubo is a devastating disease which can suddenly strike down otherwise healthy people.

Treatment for those who are at risk of heart failure is recommended. It is always important to take the measures necessary just to improve overall heart health.

One nutrient believed to be helpful for heart health is L-Carnitine. This natural remedy has long been linked with many health benefits.

A study was conducted in the journal called Mayo Clinic Proceedings. In this study, the investigators reviewed 13 controlled trials. They suggest that some of the benefits of L-Carnitine supplementation include reductions in angina symptoms, all causes of mortality, and ventricular arrhythmias following a heart attack.

The scientists were able to acknowledge L-Carnitine’s ability to stabilize heart cell membranes. Use of this natural remedy may be one of the ways to take care of the heart.

Divine Bounty L-Carnitine may be a great option. It is highly potent and pure, and is crafted carefully in an FDA-inspected facility in the United States (amazon.com/dp/B06XF7K9MM).
