(Newswire.net — September 14, 2018) Orlando, FL — Over decades, scientists have been stressing the high prevalence of erectile dysfunction (ED). They highlight some measures that may be potentially helpful in warding off this condition.

According to experts, there are cardiovascular and medical risks that should be identified and treated to reduce high ED rates.

The Massachusetts Male Aging Study reveals that erectile dysfunction has a prevalence of 52 percent. This, according to researchers, demonstrates that ED affects more and more people and is linked with age.

At age of 40, erectile dysfunction has been found to affect around 40 percent of men. This rate increases to almost 70 percent in men who are 70 years old. Between 40 and 70 years of age, complete ED prevalence increased from 5 percent to 15 percent. Investigators suggest that age was the variable most strongly linked with erectile dysfunction.

It has been found that ED produced 17,781 new cases in Massachusetts, and 617,715 in the whole of the United States.

After age adjustments, higher susceptibility were seen in those with hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, and those consuming associated medications. It is important to remember that higher ED probability was linked with heart disease and hypertension.

National Health and Social Life Survey conducted a larger national study. It looked into the sexual function of men and women. Researchers also surveyed 1410 men between the age bracket of 18 and 59 years.

They also documented an increase in erectile dysfunction with age. Scientists found there was a reduction in sexual desire as age increased.

Health experts strongly recommend resorting to the measures necessary in fighting the condition. There are nutrients like niacin that have been found to be helpful against ED.

According to a new study, this B vitamin also known as vitamin B3 enhances erectile function in men who had high levels of cholesterol.

Findings show that 80 men who consumed niacin and had moderate or severe ED at the start of the study, but reported an improvement in maintaining an erection. There was also a placebo group with 80 men.

Researchers said that all of the 160 men had high levels of cholesterol and lipid.

Dr. Chi-Fai Ng of The Chinese University of Hong Kong says, “The exciting thing about this finding is that niacin is a very old drug and the safety of it is quite well-documented. Basically, it’s just a vitamin, and so this would be a very simple way to improve erectile function.” The results were published in The Journal of Sexual Medicine.

To experience niacin’s ED-fighting, health-enhancing benefits, it may be wise to consider the use of Divine Bounty B Vitamin Complex.

It contains Choline, Pantothenic acid, Biotin, Vitamin B12, Folic Acid, Niacin, Riboflavin, Thiamin, and vitamin B6.
