(Newswire.net — October 23, 2018) — Recent trends have been emerging showing the benefits that CBD oil can have. Some of these benefits, though seem unrealistic at times, have been linked with studies authenticating the effects of the (antimicrobial, analgesic and anti-inflammatory) properties of CBD oil. Hence it isn’t a surprise that more people are relying on cbd oil as a therapeutic wellness solution. A recent area being explored is with regards to the effect CBD oil can have on specific hair loss cases – whether as a preventive measure against age and genetic related hair loss or as a means to grow full healthy hair.

Can Hemp Oil Regrow Hair?

It’s actually not surprising that the effects of CBD oil will be tested for its hair growth properties. Society’s so obsessed with physical appearance, it will promote anything that has even a remote chance of improving said appearance – how else do you explain the billion dollar hair industry filled with toupeés, wigs, and let’s not get into hair care products. CBD oil’s effects on hair still remains a widely speculative area though, with more research needed to verify some of the claims made by some hemp cbc oil products. The reason is that there are many causes of hair loss, age, genetics, chemical usage or even certain diseases. It is therefore necessary to study how much effect CBD oil can actually have on each of these cases before declaring it a universal hair loss solution. So can hemp oil regrow hair? And what exactly is the claim being made by companies promoting it as a hair loss antidote?

For starters CBD oil, unlike other hair solutions, works best when taken orally. It works by ensuring your homeostatic processes (essentially your body’s thermostat) works well. Once this “thermostat” is well regulated, all damages that would have resulted from inflammation would be eliminated. Aside from these internal regulatory benefits, hemp CBD oil also contains omega-6, omega 3 fatty acids and vitamin E – all of which have been closely associated with numerous skin benefits. It has also been proven to lower anxiety. Besides, just rubbing CBD oil on the skin can alleviate certain skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis.

Note that hemp CBD oil is not to be confused with hemp seed oil. They’re from the same plant, but what you know as CBD oil is usually extracted from the leaves and flowers, which contains cannabidiol. Hemp seed instead comes from the seed of the plant. While hemp seed oil has mild soothing effects, it doesn’t contain CBD, so it can be ineffective in treating some of the problems CBD does.
So, can hemp oil regrow hair? Even though CBD oil is still in its early stages of research, and as such have no concrete empirical studies or clinical trials backing its hair restorative claims, you can’t deny that its properties (omega 3&6, vit. E) show a lot of promise for hair restoration.
