(Newswire.net — November 16, 2018) Orlando, FL — Urinary tract infections are found to be responsible for the widespread use of and demand for antibiotics. Unfortunately, the use of antibiotics has been linked with side effects.

Dr. Carmem Pessoa reveals that the global antibiotic resistance rates have already reached above 25 to 50 percent. This is according to the latest WHO surveillance report.

Dr. Pessoa is a medical officer and expert on antimicrobial resistance at the World Health Organization.

More and more researchers are investigating the E.coli bacteria, the resistance of which to antibiotics has been found to be widespread. Antibiotics are used in killing the E.coli bacteria that cause urinary tract infections.

It is important to remember that aside from antibiotic resistance, the medication has also been found to produce other serious side effects.

This is particularly true to the last-resort antibiotics administered through IV that cause side effects like a seizure and kidney failure.

The British government published a report in 2016 that revealed resistance is increasing due to unregulated, overuse, and widespread use of antibiotics.

Some natural remedies continue to gain increasing attention and trust from scientists due to their UTI-fighting potentials.

Studies have shown a compound in cranberry called D-mannose may help.

According to researchers, this UTI-fighting compound works by inhibiting the E.coli bacteria from sticking to the urinary tract lining and causing infection. It is worth mentioning that a majority of UTI cases are caused by these bacteria.

A study involving 308 female frequent UTI sufferers was conducted and published in 2014.

In this research, there was a no-treatment group, a prescription drug group, and a D-mannose group that received a dose of 2 grams daily.

The study findings show that at the end of the 6-month trial, it has been found 60 percent of the no-treatment group had UTI recurrence. There was also 20 percent in the prescription drug group who suffered from the infection again.

What impressed the researchers was that in the D-mannose group, only 14 percent of the women had UTI recurrence.

There are actually other studies that demonstrate the remarkable benefits of D-mannose against UTIs. This is why there are many who turn to its use as a safer alternative to antibiotics.

Supplements like Purest Vantage D-mannose may be helpful in delivering the compound’s UTI-fighting benefits. This highly potent formula continues to gain popularity and trust due to the amazing UTI-fighting effects it produces.

In addition to being highly potent, it is also pure and free from nasty ingredients like binders, fillers, additives, GMOs, and preservatives (http://www.amazon.com/Mannose-Capsules-600mg-Per-Cap/dp/B071J35CP5).
