(Newswire.net — November 22, 2018) Orlando, FL — Clinicians and researchers have been investigating on the effects of estrogen on women’s health. In a study, it has been found that this hormone has remarkable protective benefits.

A new study was published in the American Journal of Physiology- Lung Cellular and Molecular Physiology.

In this study, the researchers found that estrogen has anti-viral benefits against the influenza A virus, which is known commonly as flu. It was found that estrogen decreased flu virus replication in nasal cells.

It is worth mentioning that such benefits are observed in the cells from women and not men.

According to Sabra Klein, PhD, of Johns Hopkins University and lead investigator of the study, the levels of virus replication actually determines its severity.

When there is less replication of the virus, infected people may also experience less disease. They may also be less likely spread the disease.

It is worth mentioning that a virus infects and even produces sickness. It does so by entering a cell and replicating itself inside the host cell. Once they are released from the infected cells, the virus can then spread through the body and other people.

In this study, the scientists gathered nasal cells from female and male donors. Nasal cells pertain to the cell type that is primarily infected by the flu virus. They exposed the cell cultures to the virus, estrogen, the environmental estrogen bisphenol A and selective estrogen receptor modulators (SERM).

In addition to the initial findings, the researchers also found that estrogens were able to initiate antiviral effects via the estrogen receptor beta. According to researchers, receptors are protein structures molecules stick with to induce cells to respond.

Indeed, estrogen has many benefits to offer. It is best for women to ensure that their body possesses estrogen balance, otherwise it could suffer from symptoms.

According to experts, estrogen dominance can lead to various undesirable consequences. It can be stopped by simply using diindolylmethane (DIM), which is believed to fight estrogen dominance.

DIM has further been found to fight problems like endometriosis, fibroids, and even cancer.  It has been found to be particularly helpful to women due to its ability to help the liver process estrogen.

Women who want to experience its benefits may take into account the use of Purest Vantage DIM. This amazing formula offers pretty much everything that consumers look for in a DIM supplement.

It is crafted carefully in an FDA-inspected facility in the United States. It is also popularized by its high potency and purity, and is also protected with a money back guarantee (http://amazon.com/DIM-Diindolylmethane-250mg-Per-Capsule/dp/B072C46H29).
