(Newswire.net — April 24, 2019) — Singer-songwriter Josh Pfeiffer’s touching single “One More Time” hit #2 on the Canadian iTunes Country Music Chart. The song, which highlights the beauty and pain of love, reached #47 on the overall Canadian iTunes chart.

The single is Pfeiffer’s first in the country music genre. At the time of its debut in December 2018, “One More Time” had reached #96 on the U.S. iTunes Country Music Chart and #1 on the UK iTunes Country Music Chart. The video for the single has nearly 440,000 views.

Directed by Alejandro Guimoye, the music video tells the tale of an unbreakable love that lives on even after death. A sailor, portrayed by Pfeiffer, sets off on a solo journey, but dies along the way. Because of his undying connection to his lover, portrayed by his wife Tara Pfeiffer, she knows he’s gone even before she hears the news. The bittersweet lyrics bring the story to life in a way that anyone who’s ever been in love can relate to.

“One More Time” is Josh Pfeiffer’s most successful song to date.

Josh Pfeiffer first gained recognition with the release of his jazz album entitled American Crooner Act:1. The album featured a mix of original songs and Big Band standards. The single “Life” reached #6 on the iTunes UK chart and spent weeks in the Top 40.

The music video for “Life,” which was filmed along the northern coast of California, is a tribute to Pfeiffer’s late parents and features his daughter, Tamara Pfeiffer.

His single and music video for “Brand New Shoes” was written and co-produced by David Schram and mixed by Grammy Award winner Joe Chiccarelli.

Pfeiffer’s single “Dancing Girl,” featuring Shawn Tubbs and Mic Gillette, is slated for release in 2019.

A Sonora, California native, Josh Pfeiffer was interested in music from an early age, but he wouldn’t start his career until two decades after graduating high school.

In addition to his blossoming music career, Pfeiffer is known for his philanthropic work. He’s performed to help raise funds for the American Cancer Society, the American Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity. Last year, the artist donated six months of profits from the re-release of “Life” to victims of the Northern California Wildfires.

Josh Pfeiffer is slated to perform at the LTCC Fundraiser on July 20, 2019, which will feature tastings from local wineries, breweries and restaurants in addition to Pfeiffer’s jazzy tunes.
