Study Now Shows Obesity Can Take Toll on Heart Health

(Newswire.net — July 17, 2019) Orlando, FL — Excessive weight gain has long been linked with a myriad of undesirable health consequences. Experts have even been recommending some ways to help people manage healthy weight.

A Japanese study has shown that too-fast heart beat during early adulthood is a warning sign of a heightened risk of cardiovascular issues decades later on.

The investigators from Kurume University School of Medicine had 614 residents of a rural farming community in southwestern Japan as subjects.

It has been found that a heart rate higher than 80 beats a minute during a first examination in 1979 predicted the onset of obesity and diabetes, which contributes to heart problems.

The findings of this research were published in the American Journal of Hypertension.

Mercedes Carnethon says that a fast heart rate is a signal from the sympathetic nervous system, a part of the autonomic nervous system, which is the body’s automatic pilot that governs instinctive responses.

Carnethon is an assistant professor of preventive medicine at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine.

It is worth noting that Carnethon also found the same rapid heartbeat association in a group of Americans she studied.

“If someone has a consistently fast heart rate, it is because of increased input from the sympathetic part of the nervous system because the body is preparing to respond to stress,” Carnethon said.

Experts have long been stressing the importance of following a healthy diet and lifestyle to maintain a healthy weight. It is worth realizing that making healthy dietary changes play a significant role in shedding extra pounds.

Some studies also show that detoxifying the body from toxins may also aid in weight loss. It is important to realize that today, toxins can be found pretty much everywhere, even in food and the air people breathe.

According to researchers, these toxins are processed through certain bodily organs like the liver and kidneys. When they linger in the lymph and digestive systems, it leads to various undesirable health consequences.

Toxins have been associated with weight gain, as studies have shown. It is similarly important to realize that some substances and toxins can trigger overeating. By eliminating them from the body, weight loss is more possible.

There are various ways to detoxify the body, and one is to use a natural remedy called activated charcoal. This widely-studied ingredient has a highly porous surface that traps toxins and eliminates them from the system.

Studies have long been stressing the therapeutic potentials of activated charcoal. This natural remedy can be obtained through the use of certain formulas, such as Divine Bounty Activated Charcoal (https://www.amazon.com/Organic-Activated-Charcoal-Capsules-Whitening/dp/B071NZ5G56).
