(Newswire.net — April 2, 2020) Orlando, FL — Statistics warn that by 2050, antibiotics resistance is predicted to kill 2.4 million individuals in Europe, North America, and Australia.

This, added by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, can happen in the absence of action to combat infections.

Antibiotic resistance continues to be a growing public health concern today. It has long been  something many experts warn against due to its fatal consequences.

According to Tim Jinks, drug-resistant superbugs are on the rise worldwide and represent a fundamental threat to global health and development.

Tim Jinks is head of the Wellcome Trust’s drug-resistant infections priority program.

“This report provides yet further evidence that investing to tackle the problem now will save lives and deliver big payoffs in the future,” he adds.

Experts have long been recommending some measures to help fight drug resistance. It is worth mentioning that governments have been resorting to strategies like promoting hygiene practices and avoiding over-prescription of antibiotics.

A report has warned that for $2 per person per year, three out of four deaths from superbugs could be averted.

Behind the increasing demand for antibiotics is the high prevalence of infections like UTIs. Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are common nowadays, and they are often require the use of antibiotics for treatment.

One of the problems is that in many occasions, antibiotics are prescribed unnecessarily. There are also many people who end up misusing antibiotics, and this has been found to increase the odds of antibiotic resistance.

Due to the dangers that drug resistance poses, experts strongly recommend taking some preventive steps against UTIs. By reducing the risk of this infection, the need to use antibiotics can also be reduced or eliminated.

There are various ways to ward off the infection, such as drinking more water. This has been found significantly helpful in flushing the E.coli bacteria from the body.

Another technique is to use all-natural remedies like D-mannose, which is gaining increasing popularity in the scientific community.

This plant-based UTI-fighting remedy is actually being researched on by many scientists. This is primarily due to the UTI-fighting benefits it has been found to produce.

Researchers reveal that D-mannose works by sticking with the UTI-causing E.coli bacteria and preventing them from reaching the bladder. In this way, it works in significantly reducing the risk of infection.

This UTI-fighting remedy may be obtained through the use of formulas like Divine Bounty D-mannose. This extra-strength formula may also be helpful for individuals with UTI recurrence (http://www.amazon.com/D-Mannose-600mg-Cranberry-Dandelion-Extract/dp/B01LX5KGF0).
