(Newswire.net — April 6, 2020) Orlando, FL — It is undeniable that today, there are many people who suffer from heart disease. However surprisingly, experts say that the rates of heart attack appear to be declining.

A Yale study was published in the JAMA Network Open.

In this research, it has been found that there was a dramatic improvement in heart attack prevention and outcomes among adults in the U.S. in the past two decades.

The rates were compared to the mid-1990s, as today Americans have been found to be less likely to have heart attacks and die due to them.

This research actually involved tracking over four million Medicare patients between 1995 and 2014.

This remarkable study was spearheaded by Dr. Harlan Krumholz, lead author and Yale cardiologist.

It is worth mentioning that The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the American College of Cardiology, and the American Heart Association have concentrated on lessening the risk by addressing risk factors, promoting healthy lifestyles, and improving the quality of care.

There are many ways to take better care of the heart. It is imperative to take the necessary measures in fighting heart disease and ensuring that the heart is functioning as it should.

Some spices and its compounds have been found potentially helpful for cardiovascular health, especially in reducing the risk of a heart attack.

Dr.Ronald Cotterel, a Family Medicine doctor at the Sutter Medical Group, discusses how turmeric can aid in preventing the likelihood of a heart attack.

“Turmeric can’t necessarily prevent heart disease. However, the spice could theoretically help prevent heart attacks,” Cotterel says.

It is important to realize that turmeric has a main active ingredient called curcumin, which is loaded with various therapeutic agents. These include its antiplatelet agent found to delay blood clotting as effectively as certain medications.

Aside from its antiplatelet property, it also has it has adaptogenic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anticarcinogenic, antiproliferative, antiviral, renoprotective, androgenic, antifibrotic, neurorestorative, and metal-chelating properties.

It also contains anticoagulant, antiseptic, antioxidant, antibiotic, antimicrobial, anti-purulent, immunomodulating, and anticatabolic agents.

The Natural Medicines Database says that according to clinical research, intake of curcuminoids, 4 grams daily can reduce the relative risk of myocardial infarction following coronary artery bypass grafting by approximately 56 percent.

More research is still being carried out to learn more about the therapeutic goodness of curcumin. However today, its use is widespread via supplementation.

VitaBreeze Curcumin is one of the highly potent and pure formulas available in the market today. This supplement is also equipped with black pepper, which increases curcumin absorption inside the body (www.amazon.com/Turmeric-Curcumin-Complex-Pepper-Extract/dp/B00JA4TLTI/).
