(Newswire.net — April 6, 2020) Orlando, FL — In various research studies, stress has been associated with the increased risk of certain diseases. One study has demonstrated it is linked with certain brain health issues.

This study was published in the International Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry.

In this research, the investigators looked into an analysis of data involving over 900 Baltimore adults. Carried out by Johns Hopkins Medicine researchers, it has been found there is a link between stressful life experiences among middle-aged women — but not men — to greater memory decline in later life.

The investigators suggest their findings may add to evidence that stress hormones have an uneven gender role in brain health. This has been found to coincide with the well-documented higher rates of Alzheimer’s disease in women than men.

According to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1 in 6 women over the age of 60 will suffer from Alzheimer’s disease. This is compared to data showing 1 in 11 men will have the condition.

Cynthia Munro, Ph.D., says we can’t get rid of stressors, but we might adjust the way we respond to stress, and have a real effect on brain function as we age.

Munro is associate professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Some previous studies have shown that stressful life experiences can lead to temporary memory and cognitive health issues.

There are many people nowadays who resort to the use of certain medications to combat stress. However, it is worth mentioning that some studies researchers have found some all-natural ways to reduce stress levels.

The use of nutrients like B vitamins has been discovered by researchers to be helpful.

There are various B vitamins and they have different functions to benefit the body. Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6 and B12 have been found helpful in maintaining a healthy nervous system.

It is worth mentioning that a strong nervous system is vital for the body’s ability fight stress symptoms. By increasing intake of these B vitamins, stress relief can be achieved.

Experts have also revealed that certain B vitamins are needed for the production of energy. Energy production is required to offer support to the bodily systems that respond to stress.

Increasing intake of B vitamins may be useful for individuals who do not want to resort to pharmaceutical drugs in fighting stress. The use of these nutrients may be a healthy way to ward off stress.

Multiple research studies have linked B vitamins with a myriad of health benefits. Consumers who want to benefit from their use may resort to the use of formulas like Divine Bounty Vitamin B Complex.

It contains Choline, Pantothenic acid, Biotin, Vitamin B12, Folic Acid, Niacin, Riboflavin, Thiamin, and vitamin B6 (www.amazon.com/dp/B07414752B).
