(Newswire.net — August 28, 2020) Orlando, FL — Multiple research studies suggest that diet plays a significant role in maintaining overall health. Unfortunately today, more and more people opt for processed and junk foods that are linked with the onset of certain diseases.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, only 1 in 10 people in the United States consume enough fruits and vegetables.

It is worth realizing that these foods have long been widely studied due to their ability to reduce the risk of chronic diseases, which include heart disease, obesity, and type 2 diabetes.

The CDC further reveals that just 13 percent of Americans consume one and a half to two cups of fruit every day as recommended by federal dietary guidelines.

This study was published in the CDC’s July 10 issue of Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report.

Due to the findings of this research, experts strongly call for widespread action in promoting increased intake of fruits and vegetables.

According to study author Latetia Moore, this is the first time that researchers have been able to break down fruit and vegetable consumption on a state-by-state basis.

Moore is an epidemiologist with the CDC’s Obesity Prevention and Control Branch.

“We just have to get into the habit of replacing some of those foods we normally eat with fruits and vegetables,” she added.

As the prevalence of the most chronic and deadly diseases continues to soar, experts increasingly carry out studies to find cures for these conditions. It is worth noting that warding off a range of diseases doesn’t just require dietary changes, but also lifestyle modifications.

Some studies have also shown that certain spices like turmeric may work wonders in protecting the body against ailments. This spice has been resorted to for thousands of years in addressing diseases.

More particularly, turmeric has been found to be potentially helpful in preventing diseases. Scientists suggest that this natural remedy contains a phytochemical called curcumin, which is loaded with a variety of therapeutic ingredients.

Curcumin has genoprotective, adaptogenic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anticarcinogenic, antiproliferative, antiviral, anti-amyloidogenic, anti-cytotoxic, neurorestorative, and metal-chelating properties.

It also contains renoprotective, insulin-sensitizing, anticoagulant, anti-platelet, antioxidant, antibiotic, antimicrobial, immunomodulating, and anticatabolic agents.

All of these therapeutic compounds have been found to work wonders in fighting a range of diseases and disorders.

Today, some experts strongly recommend its use for preventive health purposes. It could be a great addition to a healthy diet. The good news is that this natural healing remedy can be obtained via supplementation, such as the use of VitaBreeze Curcumin (amazon.com/Turmeric-Curcumin-Complex-Pepper-Extract/dp/B00JA4TLTI/).
