(Newswire.net— August 27, 2020) —  Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump’s opponent in the previous US presidential elections, advised Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden not to admit defeat on election night “under any circumstances,” Fox News reports.

The reason for this advice is that she believes that the announcement of the final results could be delayed due to voting by mail.

Trump defeated Clinton who was representing the Democrats in the 2016 elections, but as it now stands the current president lags behind Biden in national polls.

Clinton conceded defeat on election night 2016 but says the winner of this year’s election could be known later in November due to voting by mail which, according to her assessment, more Americans could choose as preferable due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The reason for this move by Hillary is in her own experience and she believes the results on election night could indicate a small advantage for Trump.

Biden should not give in under any circumstances because “it will drag on,” Clinton believes.
“Joe Biden should not concede under any circumstances,” Clinton said. “Because I think this is going to drag out, and eventually, I do believe he will win, if we don’t give an inch and if we are as focused and relentless as the other side is,” she said during an interview on Showtime’s “The Circus,” part of which was released Tuesday.

Biden’s spokesman declined to comment on Hilary’s statements.

Half of U.S. voters are expected to vote by mail this year, more than double that of 2016, and not all states and local officials have the same capacity to count votes by mail.

Some states, such as Ohio and North Carolina, allow the counting of ballots that arrive a few days after the polls close.

Trump criticized voting by mail as fraud without any evidence, even though he asked for his own ballot to be sent by mail in this year’s elections.

The American president, who will officially accept the party’s nomination, also believes that voting by mail could slow down the counting of votes.

There is a concern that voting by mail is not secure and could allegedly lead to a deliberate misplacing of envelopes with votes. The video that vent viral depicts a Republican registered voter who discovered that the letter R in a barcode on the envelope stands for Republican, thus revealing the vote inside. She backs her claims by showing an envelope of her brother who is a registered Democrat, and there is a letter D in the barcode.

The woman in video expressed serious concern that, for example, if a postman who is Democrat can deliberately hide or destroy envelopes with Republican votes because he can detect registered voters by the barcode.
