(Newswire.net — November 18, 2020) Orlando, FL — Alzheimer’s disease is one of the chronic and most common conditions today. Despite decades of research by the scientific community, it remains to be incurable.

A study was carried out by the researchers from University of California, Berkely, particularly the neuroscientists Matthew Walker and Joseph Winer.

Walker, a UC Berkeley professor of psychology and neuroscience and senior author of the paper.

The findings of this study reveal that one way to combat the virulent form of dementia is to simply have plenty of restorative, deep sleep.

“We have found that the sleep you’re having right now is almost like a crystal ball telling you when and how fast Alzheimer’s pathology will develop in your brain,” said Walker.

The findings of this interesting research were published in the journal Current Biology.

Sleep combined with a healthy diet is indeed extremely helpful for brain health. It is also worth noting that in some other studies, it’s found some nutrients are helpful in protecting the brain. These particularly include B vitamins, which are linked with a myriad of health benefits.

Health care professionals have long been warning against the impacts of having vitamin B deficiencies. When they happen, they often produce symptoms like scaly skin on the lips, skin rashes, cracks around the teeth, swollen tongue, weakness, fatigue, anemia, confusion, nausea, irritability, abdominal cramps, constipation, diarrhea, and numbness or tingling in the feet and hands.

Those with underlying conditions should be wary considering that such deficiency symptoms may overlap with other diseases.

Nutrients like B vitamins have long been reputed to be beneficial for brain health, and this particularly includes vitamin B2.

A study was carried out and it found that dietary vitamin B2 intake was linked with enhanced cognitive test scores. This research involved 554 primary school children in rural Kenya. There have been many research studies that looked into the therapeutic effects of this nutrient.

Another involved 137 elderly individuals who achieved improvements in abstract performance from high intake of vitamin B2.

There have also been studies revealing that this nutrient may be useful n slowing the progression of Alzheimer’s disease.

Various research studies have highlighted the therapeutic impacts of B vitamins. Today, more and more experts strongly recommend intake of supplements like Divine Bounty B Vitamin Complex to benefit from the healing goodness of these nutrients.

It contains Choline, Pantothenic acid, Biotin, Vitamin B12, Folic Acid, Niacin, Riboflavin, Thiamin, and vitamin B6.
