The announcement coincides with the ongoing effects of the pandemic, which has changed the way many South Africans work, pushing organisations towards remote working practices and requiring a complete overhaul of basic business strategies.

As such, Sandras wishes to bring his expertise as a business strategist and startup coach to individuals and organisations of all sizes, providing innovative insights about how to start, develop and improve a business, especially in this difficult economic climate.

Sandras is now available to give keynote addresses in the areas of entrepreneurship, corporate innovation, sales strategies, customer development, business and personal finances, motivation and of bouncing back from the pandemic.

Mr Phiri’s goal is to inspire his audiences through both inspirational words of wisdom and practical advice that can assist early stage entrepreneurs to launch and scale their businesses as well as corporates to innovate more rapidly.

An expert in startups, Sandras has founded successful companies in education, IT and entertainment, and his diverse experiences across 22 countries has given him a broad knowledge and experience base with which to tailor his talks for any corporate or motivational scenario.

Sandras started his own entrepreneurial journey with a degree in Computer Science and an MBA from University of Cape Town (UCT). Since that time, he has become an educator in his own right, lecturing at over 17 universities including UCT and Oxford University. His growing reputation as an innovator and speaker has led to him being featured on CNBC Africa, SABC 3 and SABC 1 as a mentor on the popular ‘Making Moves’.

In addition to his expanded keynote speaking services, Mr Phiri continues to work as the CEO of Startup Circles, as an innovation and commercialisation consultant, as a startup educator and as a leadership mentor.

Speaking of his ethos regarding business and the empowering potential of motivational speaking, Sandras said he wants to help people to “do what they love and make a positive impact”.
