(Newswire.net — March 11, 2021) Orlando, FL — Scientists continue to study the thousands of chemicals associated with the onset of a variety of diseases and disorders.

According to a study, these are endocrine-disrupting chemicals that can be found in household dust. They have been found to promote the growth of fat cells in a cell model.

What makes them all the more disadvantageous is that they may also contribute to the increased growth in children relative to their age.

The findings of the study were presented at the ENDO 2019, which is the Endocrine Society’s annual meeting in New Orleans, La.

According to Christopher Kassotis, Ph.D., this is some of the first researches investigating links between exposure to chemical mixtures present in the indoor environment and metabolic health of children living in those homes.

Kassotis is from the Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment in Durham, N.C.

It is worth mentioning that in previous research, it has been found chemical exposures can promote the buildup of triglycerides and even increase obesity in animal models. In humans, these endocrine-disrupting chemicals are thought to contribute to obesity.

It can be difficult or even impossible to totally avoid exposure to these chemicals. However, it can help to take measures in avoiding them. It is worth noting that they are not just linked with obesity, but also other chronic ailments.

There are weight loss herbs like ashwagandha scientists highly recommend for individuals who want to manage healthy weight.

Experts say that as an adaptogen, ashwagandha works in fighting the physiological effects of stress in the body.

According to “The Cortisol Connection” by Shawn Talbott, cortisol not only acts as a stress hormone in the body, it can also make you fat.

When the body has chronically high levels of cortisol, it is more susceptible to diabetes, heart disease, and even obesity.

The Life Extension Magazine article “Stress Reduction, Neural Protection, and a Lot More from an Ancient Herb” by Dale Kiefer even reveals that ashwagandha has an ability to reduce levels of cortisol by up to 26 percent.

It even has antimicrobial properties as well as other healing agents that could enhance immune function. When the immune system is healthy, one is able to follow an effective exercise plan.

Due to its adaptogenic effects, ashwagandha has also been found to boost levels of energy. In addition to its weight loss benefits, it is also worth noting that ashwagandha has been found to produce many positive effects on health.
