The recently updated services are designed to provide dog-owners in the Burlingame area with a regular dog-exercise offering that is both safe and rewarding for their much-loved pet.

As many people find themselves with increasingly busy lives, phrases such as ‘time-poor’ have become commonplace. While most dog-owners love their four-legged companions, it can often be difficult to give them the regular exercise and playtime they need.

Operating as a full-time business since 1999, Paws now occupies an exclusive multi-acre site in Montara to provide their clients’ pets with the room they need to stretch their legs.

The site is fully fenced and regularly mowed and sprayed for parasites such as ticks. This provides an open and safe environment for the animals to enjoy themselves.

Giving dogs the opportunity to socialize, with other animals and with humans, is important to teach them when and how to base fear. While it is best to begin socializing a dog as a puppy, they can be socialized at any age.

A key component of socializing is regular exercise and contact with other dogs and people. For this reason, Paws Dog Camp recommends that dogs join them for a walk at least twice a week.

The Paws service includes collection and transport in an air-conditioned van. Dogs are group-walked at the Montara facility, getting to know others and having plenty of exercise at the same time.

As the Paws Dog Camp team get to know each dog, they can now also offer owners a variety of additional advisory services to improve behavior or otherwise make for a happier pet. Further details can be found at: https://www.instagram.com/pawsdogcamp/

A satisfied client stated: “We wouldn’t want to send our dog to a service that uses any number of staff. Our dog Chaka knows Trina and is friends with the other dogs in the pack. We’ve always appreciated the loving attention Trina takes with their dogs. It has created relationships that have enriched Chaka’s life. It’s why we’ve never considered using anyone else.”
