(Newswire.net — March 29, 2021) Orlando, FL — Many in the scientific community are carrying out studies to look into the best ways to enhance and protect bone health. Unfortunately today, there are many who suffer from conditions like osteoporosis.

According to experts, conditions like osteoporosis are prevalent among older adults. However, this issue can start as early as the age 40. As the body ages, its interlinked bone structure slowly turns less robust.

It is further worth mentioning that the bone is made up of living tissue, which is constantly being broken and remodeled into new bone. During the younger years, this process is more efficient. However by about 30 years of age, the body stops increasing bone mass.

By the 40s and 50s, more bone might be being broken down more than what is being replaced. Eventually, this leads to osteoporosis as bones get thinner, which increases the risk of fractures.

Some studies have shown that certain natural remedies can aid in protecting and enhancing bone health.

A recently carried-out study was published in the Immunity journal.

In this study, the researchers treated female laboratory mice with probiotics for more than 4 weeks. It has been found that such a treatment stimulated the growth of gut bacteria, which produce a particular metabolite called butyrate.

It is worth mentioning that Butyrate prompts T cells in bone marrow to manufacture a protein called Wnt10b, which is vital for bone growth.

Due to the findings of the study, the investigators suggest that probiotics can affect the bones in a positive way.

Another study was carried out, and it was by the researchers at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden.

It has been found that probiotics have positive effects on the human skeleton. It involved older women who were treated with probiotics. The study findings open the door to a new technique in reducing the incidence of fracture among the elderly.

It could mean that probiotics may be useful in also warding off bone health issues like osteoporosis.

In addition to their bone-health benefits, it is also worth realizing that probiotics are associated with a range of healing effects. Scientists have been long been investigating probiotics and the myriad of health benefits associated with their use.

Today, these beneficial bacteria can be obtained through the use of formulas like Divine Bounty Digestive Enzymes.
