Aspiring actors ready to work in the Hollywood film and television industry can now apply for Walid Chaya’s “LA Acting Bootcamp.” Selected actors will meet and train with 13 LA industry professionals over 3 jam-packed days!
Studio For Performing Arts LA, founded by Chaya, will be holding this exclusive bootcamp for aspiring and working actors. The course will run from Wednesday to Friday, August 11th to 13th, 2021.

This program is timed with the reopening of Hollywood after a long period of downtime due to the global pandemic.
With more actors than ever seeking to find their way into or back into the industry after this significant production pause, Walid Chaya is offering this opportunity for actors to learn more about their craft and network with high-ranking industry profiles.
Over the course of this three-day experience, participating actors will work with five casting professionals and film directors before performing in a showcase before eight different talent agents and managers.
In particular, under the close tutelage of these experienced industry professionals, participants will take a number of unique masterclasses, with each class focusing on a unique dimension of the craft of acting and the industry itself.
Interested actors must apply for approval as only a limited number of actors are selected to participate through an online screening process. Actors must be over 17 years of age and can submit online for approval.

Walid Chaya is an award-winning director and actor who has recently been seen on television in ‘Madam Secretary’ for CBS, ‘Blacklist: Redemption’ for NBC and ‘The Looming Tower’ for Hulu. A graduate of VCUarts he is a member of SAG-AFTRA and the Stage Directors Choreographer Society.
