(Newswire.net — July 9, 2021) Orlando, FL — There are many people who struggle with mental health issues, such as depression and anxiety. It is hard to deny that these health problems reduce the overall quality of life and health. A study has also shown that it impacts longevity.

This is according to a new nationwide study, that was carried out at the National Centre for Register-based Research at Aarhus BSS, Aarhus University.

This is the most comprehensive study ever carried out on mortality in individuals with mental disorders. The investigators of this research tried to see the mortality of people with different types of mental disorders.

Dr. Oleguer Plana-Ripoll says it is well known that individuals with mental disorders die earlier than the general population.

It is worth noting that Plana-Ripoll is a postdoctoral researcher at the National Centre for Register-based Research, Aarhus University, and the lead author of the study.

“However, for the first time, we present a comprehensive study where we investigate mortality in specific types of mental disorders. We have used new ways to measure life expectancy that are more accurate than the ones used in the past,” he adds.

The results of this study were published in The Lancet.

While depression is widespread, it still comes with a stigma. Antidepressants are often used for individuals with this mental health issue. There are actually many sufferers who benefit from the use of these pharmaceutical drugs.

However, it is also worth noting that some antidepressants are found to cause some side effects. These include the heightened risk of suicidal thoughts and violence, which can lead to fatal consequences.

While these medications are helpful, it is also important to note that some plant-based remedies are actually found to have antidepressant effects. Certain nutrients like B vitamins have even been shown to influence the production of brain chemicals, and this means they have the potential to combat depression.

Intake of B vitamins has long been linked with a myriad of health benefits. These nutrients are vital for various body processes, and their deficiencies are even associated with undesirable health outcomes.

Some studies have warned against the link between reduced B vitamin levels and the increased odds of depression. Studies looking into the disease-fighting effects of B vitamins continue to pile up.

Today, there are highly potent and pure formulas like Divine Bounty B Vitamin Complex carefully crafted to deliver the healing goodness of these nutrients.

It contains Choline, Pantothenic acid, Biotin, Vitamin B12, Folic Acid, Niacin, Riboflavin, Thiamin, and vitamin B6 (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B07414752B).
