The Triangle Area has so much culture in each major area of Durham, Chapel Hill, and Raleigh. There are some industries that thrive here and it seems like certain areas are immensely desirable to live in like Cary. The fact that it snows in this area very sparingly is a huge attraction as you get all of the major seasons with winter being relatively short. Spring and Fall are the best seasons as summer can be extremely hot. The moderate temperatures make it great to do anything outdoors on a nice cool comfortable fall day. The following are incredible and surprising things about the Triangle area.

The Job Market Is Healthy

The job market will continue to be healthy as companies flock to the Triangle Area. Companies do not have to look far for great talent and Raleigh is a reasonably priced city. In certain areas you can get a huge home with property for far less than it would cost near other major cities like San Francisco or New York. Everything from digital marketing to finance is thriving in the region. The medical field has been a staple in the area for quite a long time whether it is providing services or major medical products.

You Can Still Get Fresh Seafood

Fresh seafood may seem foreign due to the ocean being a few hours away. The NC Seafood Restaurant at the Raleigh Farmer’s Market prides itself on providing only the freshest seafood in the region. There are also a number of sushi spots around the city that can be incredibly good. Take your time to look at online reviews as people are usually brutally honest when it comes to their experience and the quality of food they received.

There Is No Shortage Of College Sports Events

College sports fans are going to be very happy about living near UNC-Chapel Hill, NC State University, and Duke University. The ACC is one of the most competitive conferences in all of college sports. You can see some of the best college basketball in the country within a drivable distance. Finding tickets to some of these events might be a challenge though as the fanbases for all of the schools in the area are quite loyal.

A Great Foodie Scene

There are a multitude of restaurants, breweries, and everything else you can imagine. Chapel Hill has Top of the Hill which brews its own beer and can be quite fun later at night. Second Empire Restaurant and Tavern in Raleigh is incredibly delicious especially if you love duck. There are a number of smaller restaurants that are amazing and North Carolina barbeque which is second to none. There always seems to be another restaurant popping up that you have to try. The pandemic did close down quite a few restaurants that were considered staples of the local area as the drop in business was too much to overcome.

Living in the Triangle Area is a treat for a variety of reasons. Take advantage of all the area has to offer its residents!
