How to fix QuickBooks error 6000?

Ways to resolve it

 

Solution 1– Backup!

Have a backup of these files from the Auto data recovery tool that makes your files manageable even if they are corrupted.

 

  1. If you are using QuickBooks Pro, Premier or Enterprise solutions, then Auto data recovery can be of a lot of help to you.

 

  1. Create a folder named QBtest on your desktop. Now go to the file where the QuickBooks company files are located. From there copy.TLG file and paste it in the QBtest folder.

 

  1. Now press Windows + E and you can see a File, Explorer. There go to the View option.

 

  1. Click on Hide extensions, apply that and click OK. Now you can go to the QuickBooks Auto data recovery folder in the location where the QuickBooks company file exists.

 

  1. Now copy the .ADR file and paste it in the QBtest folder. If that’s done then go do Rename the .ADR file in QBtest folder to .ADR.OLD.

 

  1. Open the QuickBooks and open the File that is in the QBtest folder from there. Now copy that file and paste it to the original location.

 

Solution 2- Firewall and Antivirus system!

 

  1. If they are blocking your way then you must disable them to allow QuickBooks company files to run normally.

 

  1. 2.    In the Settings, go to Firewall and network protection. Click on Allow an app through Firewall. In the new window click on Change settings and select the application you want to allow and hit OK.

Solution 3- New location!

 

  • Copy the QuickBooks company file and Save it in the location and try to open the file.

 

Solution 4- Rename the file!

 

  • The .ND and .TLG extensions of the files can be renamed to .ND.OLD and .TLG.OLD.
  • Now try opening the QuickBooks company file.
