(Newswire.net — September 7, 2021) Orlando, FL — Smoking tobacco or cigarettes has long been found to be detrimental to overall health, especially the heart. Today, there are many who turn to the use of E-cigarettes mistakenly, thinking that they are much safer to use.

A study was carried out and presented at the American College of Cardiology’s 68th Annual Scientific Session.

In this research, it has been found that E-cigarettes are never safe and are linked with the heightened risk of heart disease, heart attack, and depression. It is important to note that 1 in 20 Americans uses vapes.

These battery-operated, handheld devices work in mimicking the experience of cigarette smoking. They are equipped with e-liquid, which is heated and may contain various nicotine levels.

Experts also say that e-cigarettes possess many flavors and some chemicals. Reports have shown that sales of vapes have increased in the last decade by almost 14-fold.

This recently carried out analysis was performed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) between 2014-2017.

It included data from the National Health Interview Survey. It also involved 96,467 adults in the United States.

According to Mohinder Vindhyal, MD, until now, little has been known about cardiovascular events relative to e-cigarette use.

Vindhya is an assistant professor at the University of Kansas School of Medicine Wichita and the study’s lead author.

“These data are a real wake-up call and should prompt more action and awareness about the dangers of e-cigarettes,” Vindhyal added.

Quitting smoking is one of the most effective ways to avoid heart-related conditions. Experts have long been stressing the importance of taking some measures to ward off heart disease, which is preventable.

Interestingly, some nutrients have been scientifically researched due to their remarkable health benefits.

B vitamins are found particularly helpful. These nutrients have been linked with a myriad of health benefits. One is vitamin B12, which has been found to significantly aid in reducing levels of homocysteine in the body.

According to researchers, homocysteine is an amino acid that triggers the body to lay down sticky, artery-hardening platelets in blood vessels.

In the Nurses’ Health Study, it has been found that daily intake of vitamin B12, vitamin B6, and folic acid aids in neutralizing high homocysteine levels, which is critical for heart health.

There are many other studies revealing that these B vitamins and some others are beneficial for the heart. Their use is even associated with many other healing effects.

Formulas like Purest Vantage Vitamin B Complex may be helpful to use for individuals who want to benefit from the healing goodness of these nutrients.

It contains Choline, Pantothenic acid, Biotin, Vitamin B12, Folic Acid, Niacin, Riboflavin, Thiamin, and vitamin B6 (http://amazon.com/Vitamin-B-Complex-90-Capsules/dp/B0773N3MFK ).
