A Recent Study Shows Life Changes Influence Amount of Physical Activity

A study was recently carried out by researchers from the University of Jyväskylä.

According to postdoctoral researcher Kasper Salin, with the birth of both the first and second child, the trend of aerobic steps declined in men.

“However, with the birth of the second child, the number of everyday steps began to rise. This can be explained by, for example, a decrease in exercise hobbies,” he adds.

It is worth noting that aerobic steps pertain to movements with a longer duration, and this is one that lasts for a minimum of 10 minutes, with a step rate of at least 60 steps per minute. Doctors have long stressed that aerobic steps are actually vital for heart health.
