A lot of people have shirt printing and embroidery done every year, some for personal reasons, and some for businesses as a way to market and boost visibility. Having employees out walking around with your product, business, the logo is a great way to generate interest at a very affordable price. You can create personalized gifts, unique designs, make a serious statement or say something fun whether it is a gift, for a team event, for a hen night or for company shirt printing.

Which printing method

When you have decided to get some clothing printed, typically t-shirts though other options are just as possible, you will see there are a few methods of printing to consider. Which option you choose depends on how many you want, what you want to pay, how many colors you want to use, how detailed you want the image to be and whether you want to easily do a repeat order.

  1. Screen printing – The most common method is screen printing, which is a method that has been around in some form for hundreds if not thousands of years. Screen company shirt printing is great for large orders and when you order in bulk you get discount prices. With screen printing, each color has a separate screen so it is more work to set up and best used when fewer colors are required. It is easy to repeat the order though. It is good not just for t-shirts but also for caps and other hats, jackets, bags and more. It is durable, the design is printed straight onto the item. It works best on white or light-colored garments though.

  2. Vinyl printing –  Vinyl printing is another option and works on any color shirt, not just on lighter ones. Rather than printing straight onto the garment, this method has the design printed into a vinyl sheet, cut to the size needed and then it is stuck to the shirt or item. It is good for smaller quantities and is durable and strong and the colors look great, very vibrant. It is also ready to wear so it is fast to produce.

  3. Embroidery services – When looking into company shirt embroidery this is a great way to have a design on a garment of high quality that lasts. It is the more expensive choice out of the above options and it better suits when you want a smaller and detailed logo added to something rather than a bigger design. This is because the way they charge for embroidery is per thread. It will not peel or fade or crack through multiple washes and gives a great three-dimensional look.

Conclusion

When you are considering whether you want company shirt embroidery and whether you want printing too, think about what you want the results to look like, how many you need to order, how long you want it to last and then look into cost. Also, think about who it is for, you do not want your customers or clients thinking you are cheap, this is a reflection of your business.
