Introduction to anime series

Anime is a genre of animation that covers numerous styles and genres; most anime uses traditional or digital energy produced with hand-drawn, computer-assisted, or even stop motion. It has since become an art form. Anime can be divided into diverse categories and subgenres, including drama, action, comedy, romance, horror, science fiction, and fantasy. Sometimes it includes fan service for the loyal fans of any particular show. The term anime refers to all forms of animation in Japanese.

In countries outside of Japan, anime is defined as a Japanese-disseminated animation style featuring vibrant colors, vibrant characters, and fantastical themes.  Anime series are an essential part of the genre – they have also been called one of the primary forms of popular culture, especially in Japan. The average series episode has a budget that can range from US$100,000 to US$200,000, but an average production committee’s financial liability can mean that a series episode may cost more than $500,000.
