(Newswire.net — February 11, 2022) Orlando, FL — More and more experts strongly warn against regular or excessive intake of sugar-sweetened drinks as they are linked with the onset of certain diseases.

In a recently carried out study, it has been found that individuals who consumed lots of sugar-sweetened drinks may be placing themselves at an increased risk of kidney disease.

This study actually involved over 3,000 black men and women in Mississippi. The investigators found that subjects who consumed soda, sweetened fruit drinks, and water the most had an increased risk of chronic kidney disease by 61 percent.

It is worth mentioning that water has been speculated to contribute to the onset of the disease due to the fact that it included a variety of types of water, including flavored and sweetened water.

According to lead study author Casey Rebholz, there is a lack of comprehensive information on the health implications of the wide range of beverage options that are available in the food supply.

Rebholz is an epidemiologist at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore.

The study findings were published online on Dec. 27 in the Clinical Journal of the American Society of Nephrology.

“In particular, there is limited information on which types of beverages and patterns of beverages are associated with kidney disease risk in particular,” she adds.

It is important to realize that today, there are quite a number of research studies that investigate the ways to enhance kidney protection. There are actually some all-natural techniques that could be helpful for kidney health.

One is the powerful antioxidant called resveratrol, which works wonders in delivering a range of healing benefits.

Studies have shown that the use of resveratrol may intervene with the chain of events that could lead to renal failure.

Researchers even suggest that resveratrol may aid in the preservation of kidney structure and function in rats, which in the study were exposed to ischemia/reperfusion injury.

As a powerful antioxidant, resveratrol may work in fighting oxidative damage following reperfusion. It may even reduce injury affecting the kidneys.

Due to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory potentials, resveratrol has been known to prevent drug-induced kidney damage.

In addition to reducing the intake of sugar-sweetened beverages, it is wise to consider the intake of resveratrol. It is worth noting that its use is not just linked with kidney health protection, but also other health benefits.

There are formulas like Purest Vantage Resveratrol found to be potentially useful in delivering this antioxidant’s healing goodness (http://www.amazon.com/Resveratrol-Supplement-Trans-Resveratrol-Additional-Polyphenol/dp/B01N3LZY3O).
