(Newswire.net — April 26, 2022) Orlando, FL — Years of research have shown that food preferences play a significant role in weight management. Consumption of meat has been particularly linked with certain undesirable health outcomes.

A study carried out by researchers from the University of Adelaide has shown a link between meat intake and global obesity. More particularly, meat in the modern diet produces surplus energy and contributes to the prevalence of global obesity.

It is worth noting that the comparative anatomy and human evolution experts from the University’s School of Medicine have been looking into the correlation between meat intake and obesity rates in 170 countries.

“Our findings are likely to be controversial because they suggest that meat contributes to obesity prevalence worldwide to the same extent as sugar,” says Professor Maciej Henneberg.

Henneberg is head of the Biological Anthropology and Comparative Anatomy Research Unit.

In this analysis of obesity prevalence involving 170 countries, the investigators found that sugar availability in a nation is behind 50 percent of obesity variation. Further, meat availability accounted for another 50 percent.

After making some corrections for the differences in the calorie consumption, wealth, physical inactivity, and levels of urbanization of the nation, it has been found sugar availability stayed to be an essential factor contributing independently by 13 percent.

It is worth noting that another 13 percent was contributed by meat.

The findings were published in BMC Nutrition and the Journal of Nutrition & Food Sciences.

“While we believe it’s important that the public should be alert to the over-consumption of sugar and some fats in their diets, based on our findings we believe meat protein in the human diet is also making a significant contribution to obesity,” Professor Henneberg says.

Scientists have been increasingly studying the ways helpful for weight management. It is important to keep in mind that diet is indeed one of the most influential factors in battling obesity.

Some amino acids like L-Carnitine have been found helpful for weight management. Some studies suggest it helps enhance energy levels and this means it may aid in boosting exercise performance and adherence.

What makes this remedy even more beneficial is that it could also be helpful in burning extra fat.

There are actually many benefits linked with its use and this is why it is widely reported to by consumers today. There are supplements like Divine Bounty L-Carnitine that could deliver its amazing health benefits.
