(Newswire.net — June 21, 2022) Orlando, FL — Multiple research studies have warned against living a sedentary lifestyle, which is linked with the increased risk of diseases.

A new study suggests that too much sitting may also wreak havoc on health. It has been particularly found to be correlated with an unhealthy “thinning” of tissue in a key brain area tied to memory.

It is worth noting that according to researchers, the damage isn’t simply due to the fact that these people do not exercise. It has been found there was something about the act of sitting that triggers the damage.

According to Prabha Siddarth who spearheaded the study, they found that sedentary behavior, but not [levels of] physical activity, was associated with less thickness of the medial temporal lobe.

It is worth noting the medial temporal lobe is a brain region that’s crucial to the formation of new memories.

Siddarth is a biostatistician at the University of California, Los Angeles’ Semel Institute of Neuroscience and Human Behavior.

Dr. Marc Gordon says that while the study can’t prove that sitting helped cause the brain tissue thinning, the research bears further exploration.

Dr. Gordon is chair of neurology at Zucker Hillside Hospital in Glen Oaks, N.Y.

The findings were reported April 12 in the journal PLOS One.

It is worth noting that sitting behaviors have been found to produce different effects on brain health.

It doesn’t come as a surprise that nowadays, more and more people are struggling from brain health issues. Not only because many are living a sedentary lifestyle, but they are also following unhealthy diets.

It is worth realizing that today, there are researchers who extensively investigate the brain-health benefits of some natural remedies. One is resveratrol that has long been studied by researchers and clinicians.

This strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compound has been found to aid in delaying age-related cognitive decline. What makes it all the more beneficial is that it could also offer protection against dementia.

Multiple research studies demonstrate this natural remedy aids in promoting cognitive function. It may even reduce the risk of long-term cognitive decline and potentially fight neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer’s.

Scientists have long been left in awe by the remarkable healing benefits of this natural remedy. Today, it is widely resorted to via supplementation such as the use of Divine Bounty Resveratrol.

This amazing formula could work wonders in delivering the therapeutic goodness of this powerful antioxidant. Individuals who want to increase their brain health protection may benefit from its use (https://amazon.com/Resveratrol-Supplement-Strength-Extract-capsules/dp/B019C0UU5S).
