(Newswire.net — July 21, 2022) Orlando, FL — Adequate sleep is one of the most important steps to take in increasing overall health protection. It is also worth noting that sleep deprivation doesn’t just pose a threat to the body, but also to one’s work.

A study recently carried out was published in the Sleep Health (Journal of the Natural Sleep Foundation).

It was carried out by the University of South Florida researchers. It has been found that workers who fall short on sleep during the work week were more susceptible to having poor judgment. They also tend to fall off-task and reduce their job performance the next day.

It was spearheaded by Soomi Lee, Ph.D., assistant professor in the School of Aging Studies.

The researchers surveyed 130 healthy employees working in Information Technology and have at least one school-aged child. These subjects reported that sleeping 16 minutes less than usual and having worse quality sleep led to more cognitive issues the next day.

The findings of this research suggest that workplaces may benefit from making efforts to promote good employees’ sleep. It is worth realizing that good sleepers may be better performers at work, and this is due to their greater ability to stay focused and on-task with fewer errors and interpersonal conflicts.

Today, more and more researchers are looking into the best possible ways to help people get adequate sleep. Unfortunately, there are still many who end up struggling to get a decent slumber every night.

The good news is that there are actually certain remedies scientists found to be potentially helpful for individuals who want to improve their sleep quality and quantity.

There have been various research studies showing that certain nutrients aid in improving sleep. One is vitamin D, which has long been found to perform a number of roles inside the body.

Research has shown there is an association between reduced levels of vitamin D and poor sleep quality. A study has particularly discovered there was an association between vitamin D and sleep disturbances.

Some other studies suggest that vitamin D supplementation produced sleep improvements. Aside from its sleep benefits, it is also important to realize that vitamin D offers a myriad of disease-fighting effects.

One of the easiest, safest, and most effective ways to benefit from the therapeutic goodness of vitamin D is through the use of formulas like Divine Bounty Men’s Multivitamins.
