(Newswire.net — July 22, 2022) Orlando, FL — More and more people struggle from having reduced sex drive, which is undeniably common in women.

According to estimates, nearly 1/3 of women between ages 18 and 59 suffer from a low sex drive. It is important to keep in mind that sleep has been found to be influential on sexual health.

Unfortunately today, more and more people are getting inadequate sleep and are increasingly becoming susceptible to certain health issues.

The American Sleep Foundation reveals that adults should get in between seven to nine hours of it nightly.

Scientists have been carrying out studies to look into the impacts of sleep on sexual health. It has actually been found that adequate sleep boosts testosterone levels.

According to experts, testosterone is the body’s natural mojo and it is one that provides the male body with a boost of energy.

It also is responsible for keeping one vitalized and horny. It is worth noting that the amount of sleep has been found to produce direct impacts on testosterone levels.

Researchers from the University of Chicago carried out a study. In this research, they measured the sleep time and quality of the male subjects through high-tech wristbands. The investigators measured testosterone right when the participants awoke in the morning.

It has been found men who slept for four hours exhibited significantly reduced T levels compared to those who had slept eight hours. Experts also increasingly warn that reduced sleep can also mean less focus.

There are many interesting research studies linking sleep and sex drive issues. There are even studies revealing that some remedies could be particularly helpful both for sleep and sex drive.

These include the use of a phytochemical that can be found in the deep yellow-orange spice called turmeric. This phytochemical is called curcumin, which is widely consumed nowadays through the use of supplements.

Various studies have shown intake of curcumin worked in improving sleep quality and quantity. What makes it all the more beneficial is that it also exerts certain non-sleep-related mechanisms to boost libido and sex performance.

Studies reveal it has adaptogenic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anticarcinogenic, antiproliferative, antiviral, androgenic, antifibrotic, neurorestorative, and metal-chelating properties.

It also contains anti-platelet, antioxidant, anti-amyloidogenic, anti-cytotoxic, antibiotic, antimicrobial, anti-purulent, antitumor, immunomodulating, and anti-catabolic agents.

There is a number of health benefits linked with the use of curcumin. Today, more and more people are even using it for preventive health purposes.
