“We started our business on the Gold Coast and quickly expanded into neighbouring areas, Brisbane and Northern NSW.
Finding success, we then went after the East Coast of Australia. Establishing offices in Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne & Adelaide.
Quickly realising success in these new markets drove home to us how much of a need there is for our services. So we decided to speed up our growth plans and go national sooner than later. Now having brokers and offices in Perth, Hobart and Canberra.”
When queried whether tightening economic conditions made him question his expansion plans, Mr Morgan said it had the opposite effect.
“While the Australian economy as a whole is slowing, we’re not seeing this impact the business sales market. In fact the current conditions are having the opposite effect.
Many business owners are moving now to ‘sell at the top’ before a potential downturn in sales and therefore valuation. While many investors are bringing money into the business acquisitions market. Rolling up businesses as an investment vehicle while other markets trend down.
These macro conditions made it more appealing to accelerate our national growth plans”
Mr Morgan played his cards close to his chest when queried about future growth plans.
“For now our sole focus is Australia. There are so many more people we can help here. We’re just scratching the surface so we’re keeping the blinders on.
We never say never to anything, but for now we want to focus and help as many Australian business owners and investors as possible.”
