The Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy (647-247-2481) has made several updates to its popular MedSpa training program, making the training courses more accessible to students by allowing the majority of the class to be completed online, from anywhere with an internet connection.

This new update from the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy allows students from anywhere in Canada to enroll in a comprehensive MedSpa certification course, without requiring them to spend more than one week in the classroom.

Although it takes several months of schooling to become fully certified as a medical aesthetician, the Dermysk Academy has now made its courses easier to access by allowing students to complete most of their work online. A minimum of one week of practical, hands-on training is still required. However, this can be scheduled at any Dermysk Academy location across Canada.

The latest update to these courses is intended to help a wider range of students access the training programs, by making the classes available to students that currently have a second job, family obligations, or daytime responsibilities. The Dermysk Academy now allows students to become fully certified while learning primarily in their off-hours.

The courses have been designed to take students from complete beginners to fully certified, experienced, and ready to work in a MedSpa, dermatology clinic, or medical aesthetic clinic. In the Basic course alone, students will receive their certification for up to a dozen of the most popular techniques, including laser hair and tattoo removal, acne treatments, dermaplaning, and radiofrequency rejuvenation.

While graduates of the Basic training program will be fully certified to work immediately after their course, the Dermysk Academy also offers two more advanced programs. In the Advanced course, students will build on the knowledge learned in the Basic course, and receive certification in complex procedures such as vampire lifts, CoolSculpting, and laser gynecology.

Students may also choose to enroll directly in the Master level training program, to receive all of the certifications from both the Basic and Advanced programs in a single course. While this course has no prerequisites, the Dermysk Academy staff reserves the right to limit participation in this course to only selected, dedicated students.

One recent graduate said, “I would highly recommend this medical aesthetics education program to anyone looking to pursue a career in this field. It provided a solid foundation and set me up for success.”
