Recent updates to MedSpa training programs from the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy (647-247-2481) have made the classes more accessible to already employed or struggling individuals, by allowing most of the coursework to be done online.

In response to growing interest in MedSpa training, the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy has made several recent updates to its training programs, making the classes more accessible by allowing the majority of the training to be completed online.

These new classes use a combination of online learning, in-class education, and hands-on training, to help new aestheticians become fully trained and ready to enter the workforce, in only a few months. However, with the new online format, students may take as long or as little as they require to complete the education portion of their class, before scheduling the practical training.

To enroll in the Basic training program, students will require only a high school diploma or some form of relevant work experience. Using this program, students can become fully certified in up to a dozen popular medical aesthetic procedures, such as laser hair and tattoo removal, micro-blading, dermaplaning, and professional acne treatments.

Graduates from the Basic training will be fully certified, experienced, and ready to begin a career in a MedSpa or aesthetics clinic. However, they may also return to the Dermysk Academy at any time to upgrade their training with the Advanced class.

This Advanced training program requires either previous graduation from the Basic class, or at least 5 years of experience working in a MedSpa. While this course uses the same online, in-class, and hands-on training methods as the Basic class, it provides certification for more complex techniques such as Cool Sculpting, stem cell procedures, and micro-needling.

The Dermysk Academy also has an intensive education program, which allows new aestheticians to complete all the training from both the Basic and Advanced programs, as well as exclusive content, in a single course. This Master-level training course is also the only program to offer a Master of Medical Aesthetics certification to graduates.

One recent graduate explained, “The program offered a comprehensive understanding of different cosmetic procedures, allowing me to offer a wide range of services to my clients.”
