During the initial consultation, the doctor evaluates the patient’s teeth and creates a customized digital treatment plan. The aligners are then fabricated and sent to the patient for wear. Upon receipt, the patient is expected to wear the aligners for 20 to 22 hours a day, changing to a new set every 1 to 2 weeks.
