HOUSTON, July 15, 2009 (NEWSWIRE.Net) — Extensions, Inc. (Symbol:EXTINews; www.ext.com), a Social Networking Development Company, today announced that it is looking for web application designers. The EXT platform, unlike other social networking sites, encourages the use of HTML code on its members’ profile pages. Widgets, mashups and other applications will help members make the most of their new EXT micro social network. EXT wants to attract those who have already developed applications and are looking to sell them, as well as those willing to design applications tailored to a particular member’s needs.

Application designers will become approved Business Sense vendors. They will be promoted by EXT to its members as companies that can provide the tools to attract traffic to pages and maintain interest in those who visit. In these difficult economic times, there are few companies concerned about having too many clients. EXT’s social network will open up new possibilities for web designers, will help expand their client base, and will provide opportunities for new business.

EXT allows each member to set up multiple profiles, each of them as individually tailored as the member sees fit. One profile may be devoted to a certain social cause, such as cancer treatment. Another may be set up for family, and yet another for business interests. Profile pages can be personalized in numerous ways with the tools provided by EXT. But the most robust feature of this new social network is the ability to implant HTML code directly into a profile page. This is the feature that will allow application designers unlimited possibilities in terms of what can be done through a social networking site.

Furthermore, EXT has a patent-pending methodology called “Business Sense” that allows every member of the network to generate their own advertising revenue. On networks like Facebook and MySpace, all advertising revenue flows to the network’s owners. On EXT, members can become Business Sense affiliates. Affiliates can choose to run ads from approved vendors on their profile page, and receive up to 80% of the revenue from those ads automatically.

All web application designers who become part of the EXT network will of course also have this same opportunity to generate revenue through advertising placement. Not only can a designer or his or her company increase revenue by identifying new customers, but they can also generate revenue simply by being part of the EXT network. The more traffic a company’s profile receives, the more potential new business they are attracting, and the more revenue they are generating.

Since advertising revenue is proportional to the amount of traffic generated by a member’s profile page, widget, mashup and application designers will be in demand. The more interesting and interactive a profile page is, the more traffic it will generate. Members who make use of the Business Sense approved web application designers will see their own revenues increase. There will also be many groups, such as cancer treatment networks, established on EXT. Those groups will also be looking for specific web applications to help strengthen and grow their micro social network.

It is all these features that make participation in the EXT network so compelling for any business. Not only can widget, mashup and application designers find new clients, but they can generate advertising revenue while doing it, and in turn help others generate revenue who will return to them with more work.
