Well known and infamous internet marketing expert Perry Belcher has admitted to having a crippling addiction to listening to and singing along to broadway show tunes in a heartfelt confession late Thursday night while attending the 2013 Traffic and Conversion Summit in San Fransisco, CA.
Mr. Belcher was seen singing along to several songs from the hit broadway musical Avenue Q while driving down the freeway in San Antonio late last year. After realizing he was spotted singing with what could only be described as “soulful gusto”, Perry Belcher stated that he had a show tune addiction that was absolutely insatiable. Belcher also went on to ask witnesses to “Not tell a single soul about this”, or he would “kick your ass” according to multiple bystander accounts.
Star witness Michael Taggart had this to say about the incident, “I got into Perry’s car only moments before, and we headed off to find somewhere to have lunch. Little did I know I would discover a disturbing secret about Mr. Belcher”.
Mr. Taggart went on to explain what unfolded in the car. “Perry was flying down the freeway with some music cranked. At first I wasn’t paying attention due to the hangover I was experiencing from the previous nights festivities…and then I heard it….I heard show tunes. And Perry was literally SINGING ALONG! It was quite surreal now that I think about it. I mean, of all of the things I would have thought Perry Belcher would be listening and singing along to in his badass car, broadway show tunes were most definately not on that list”.
After realizing that Taggart had been witness to his stellar show tune performance, Perry then asked Michael to “not tell a soul about this”. “It’s like he could read my mind” stated Taggart. “I was literally thinking “People will NEVER believe what I am seeing right now…I’m speechless”.
