(Newswire.net — February 27, 2013) Lynnwood, WA — Effective March 1, 2013 Sea-Mountain Insurance Brokers is expanding their Marine Insurance business. John Long, Linda James, and Caitlin Leady formerly of North Star Insurance Services, LLC will join the Sea-Mountain Group.
The three join Sea-Mountain’s six person marine team making the Sea-Mountain group one of the premier Insurance agencies in Washington and Alaska. When asked why this acquisition was right for Sea-Mountain Insurance, owner Dale Hopper replied, “John and his team have the same customer service philosophy and write the same type of business – it is a great fit for our customers and employees.”
John Long brings 40 years experience specializing in Marine and Property Casualty insurance. John is a member of the Marine Insurance Association of Seattle.
Linda James brings 20 years of experience in the marine insurance industry working directly with fishing vessel owners on their insurance needs. Linda is a member of the Marine Insurance Association of Seattle and the North Pacific Fishing Vessel Owner’s Association. Linda is licensed in Washington and Alaska.
Caitlin Leady has been in the marine insurance industry for five years, she is licensed in Washington and Alaska.
Sea-Mountain is currently licensed to write insurance in Washington, Oregon, Alaska, California, Idaho, Nevada, and Arizona. As part of the acquisition, Sea-Mountain Insurance Brokers will expand their ability to write marine insurance into Maine.
Also expanding is the number of branch offices. John, Linda and Caitlin will be establishing an office in Issaquah, WA. Issaquah will be the third branch office joining West Seattle, WA; Las Vegas, NV; and a service office in Arizona. Sea-Mountain’s main office is located on the border between Edmonds, WA and Lynnwood, WA.
