(Newswire.net—March 18, 2013) Chapel Hill, NC—Mexican food is comfort food that seems to strike the chords of human happiness.  Whatever that is, it seems to address all of the sensitivities that keep us in rhythm.  The table generally starts with chips or nachos that are served with a salsa that can be mild or tangy.  These are edibles that everyone eats immediately as they are served.  The drinks are then generally served with tequila or beer to accompany the chips.  This can occupy a table of one, two, or ten that is only the warm up for more choices of a wide variety to come.

Before delving into the food, the atmosphere of most Mexican restaurants is colorfully decorated with green, yellow, and red colors (the national colors of Mexico) which are festive and happy.  The music of Mexico is also light and has an upbeat rhythm that maintains a steady pulse.  Subliminal as it may be, these certainly assist in the overall ambiance of flavor.

Some restaurants can have excellent food however there is definitely a chemistry tied into the human brain that sends off a signal that hints of a total experience.  Does food in Paris on the Champs Elysee or in Florence along the Grand Canal taste better than a dive in an alley in a U.S. strip mall?  Undeniably affirmative.  We tend to absorb all of our sensitivities without asking why, only to know when it feels right or good inside.

An in depth analysis of Mexican food is very easy to eat with a broad array of different food groups that blend together very well.  Corn tortillas, beans, rice, peppers, beef, chicken, seafood, all work well with the herbs and spices that bring out different accents.  Additionally, there is an added benefit to eating Mexican cuisine and that is the health factors.  Most of the food is good for us to consume.  Salads, beans, rice, sauces, and spices all comprise a nice mix on a plate.  The U.S. government is even getting into the picture with imports of Mexican food.

Eating Mexican food on a picnic bench can be charming however within the surroundings of all of the aforementioned accouterments, it works extremely well.  The casual atmosphere also contributes to a nice feel of comfort without being stuffy or overly formal.  There are some very “high end” Mexican restaurants found throughout the world, but most are in the casual arena.  For a nice Mexican eating experience, contact: Monterrey Chapel Hill   (919) 969-8750    located:  237 S.
