“Firstly I was greeted at the door and guided to their waiting room whilst my car was taken into one of their new MOT bays” Said Mr Hartley “I was then told to help myself to the coffee machine and given access to their free Wi-Fi.”
As he starts to look round he describes the waiting room. “Talk about comfortable, I’ve never known a garage like it. So I take seat in one of the leather chairs and whilst day time TV was playing in the back ground I got on with my work… Usually having any work done on my car would cost me a day.” Describes Lyn.

Lyn Hartley, Nelson marketing specialist continues. “I noticed a range of magazines on one of the tables and comment to the receptionist and she explains that this is because they have won an female friendly award. This is no surprise, the waiting room and toilets are nice and clean. They have CCTV so that you can watch your car being worked on. They even have lady’s evenings planned for car maintenance.”
So is that it? It would seem not. Lyn continues. “Whilst sat typing away I noticed something big drive into one of the MOT bays. I queried the receptionist who informed me that they now have a class 7 bay which means they can take vehicles up to seven and a half tonne. It’s also useful for longer vehicles like stretched limos”

“In what seems like no time at all, my car was back and I was presented with the bill. It is then I discover some things are the same. You would think with all the investment that must have been put into this new place that this would mean prices would have to go up. Alas it would seem not my bill was the same great value as its always been.” Lyn concludes.
