In order to be eligible to earn an ACE certification, applicants must be licensed to apply pesticides without supervision and have seven years of pest management experience in the United States. Harry Ross earned his pesticide applicators license in 1987 and has over 25 years experience in pest management. Applicants who meet the criteria are then required to pass a difficult examination that tests their knowledge of structural pest control.
