In it’s fourth year, The Canadian Suit Drive is dedicated to helping men “suit up” for success.
Donors can bring men’s gently-used professional attire to more than one-hundred Moores locations around the country starting July 1 to July 31, which will go directly to helping unemployed workers in their local communities. This is the fourth year for the initiative; a program created to help low-income men from all backgrounds strive for self-sufficiency.
One of the devoted supporters is Canadian-born actor Steve Bewley. He stated, “It’s an honour to be a part of this charitable cause for the second year in a row. I take great pride in this process…”
This year, Moores hopes to collect more than 50,000 much needed articles of clothing. “As the people at Moores state: “It takes only a split-second to make a first impression. I’ve been in many interviews in vastly differing settings, from the corporate business environment to auditions and castings within the entertainment and fashion industry, and what rings true is that first impression.”
By encouraging others to “give the suits off their backs” through the Canadian Suit Drive, Moores is helping unemployed workers put their best foot forward. Collected items are donated to more than sixty recipient organizations across the country, helping those looking for work “suit up” for success as they transition back into the workforce.

No matter how big or small their donation, all donors will receive a 50% off coupon to use at a Moores. They have 117 retail locations across the country.
All gently-used professional clothing items are welcome, including suits, shirts, pants, jackets, ties, belts, shoes, and accessories. Everything donated will go towards helping unemployed workers dress for success. Although men are the focus, Moores will accept donations for men and women.
