(Newswire–August 21st, 2013) Wellington, Fl.–Earlene Dooley retires from teaching after forty years and launches a new career as an author and online education resource for homeschooling parents, teachers, and tutors. .  Mrs. Dooley in partnership with Gary F Cramer (founder of Baron’s Best Marketing) is continuing to educate; only now her classroom is available to all on the world wide web at “Blast Off With Education©”.

Mrs. Dooley is well known throughout the public school system not only as a teacher but as the author of “Blast Off With Phonics™” (a systematic guide to teaching phonics published back in 1995). She wrote this book as a resource guide for parents, teachers and tutors in an effort to fill the void in the school curriculum in regards to teaching phonics. At first the idea of Mrs. Dooley using a book that was not part of the approved public school materials was frowned upon; but, when groups of children from her kindergarten class tested as gifted due to their advance reading skills, she was given permission to continue using her methods and share them with fellow teachers.

In her position as Basic Educational Skills Coordinator, Mrs. Dooley has conducted workshops and has spoken on local, regional, state and national levels on topics such as curriculum, parent involvement, teacher attitudes and continuity between home and school.
Ms. Dooley’s commitment to early childhood education and development has prompted her to continue teaching even after retirement through authorship of kindle books and development of an educational web site called “Blast off With Education©”.

Mrs. Dooley just released a new book “Love Parenting©” and it is getting rave reviews! Let’s look at some of the reviews submitted by readers on Amazon Kindle.

“LOVE PARENTING is an excellent read. Ms. Dooley has wonderful insight into one of life’s most important jobs. Her book is easy to read and contains a wealth of practical information and parenting tips. We can learn from her years of experience working with children and their parents. I would highly recommend this book to new and experienced parents, as well as anyone who is interested in the things that can help our kids. Enjoy!”, K. Elmore

Instruction Manual for Raising Kids, Most of my adult life I have often heard the expression, ‘they don’t come with instruction manuals’. This, of course, refers to children. Parents simply buy all the requisite supplies like a crib, stroller, diapers, bottle, etc. and then proceed to raise their children with little or no instruction. Consequently, most kids mimic the same mistakes their parents make. Love Parenting is as close as it gets to finding a good instruction manual for raising children. It delves into the science of human development, and then converts that information into something logical a parent can utilize to more effectively raise their children to become better people. It is well written and infused with a bit of humor throughout.” , Rick Bennette.

A Psychotherapist recommends this book….. “This is THE fundamental book for parents! From Discussing that there is no such thing as a lazy child, to understanding the importance of friendships, this book continually fills the need for important information. This book presents a positive approach to parenting with tips and hints to help every parent. You will walk away from this book with an improved outlook on teenagers and many ideas to make YOUR life as a parent easier as well as helping your child to grow and bloom”. Dr. Richard Travis

Here are some of the topics discussed in the book taken from the web site loveparentingbook.com

Section #1

Parenting is the hardest job you’ll ever love. We have all heard this declaration; we all believe it and we feel it. Parenting is hard! We experience doubt about a decision, a lack of confidence in solving certain problems, stress when the future is out of our hands, sick with worry when our child’s health is in danger and frustration when we feel our guidance is less than successful. Unlike any other, parenting is a twenty-four, seven job and to some extent it last a lifetime. Yet, we wouldn’t change our position as a parent for the world.

Section #2

Forever…Wow! A scary thought, don’t you think? As a parent, my thought was, “Five years – I had better get busy, fast!” You may wonder just how important the first five years of a child’s life are! I am here to impress upon you that they are VERY important. The first five years of a child’s life are unlike all the years that follow. Of course, all of the years that one devotes to parenting are very important; but, the first five years stand alone in developmental uniqueness. They are the foundation-building years. Consequently, the first five are forever!

Section #3

Playtime is Serious and Fun! For children, playtime is serious – it is their work time. Almost everything that children need in order to move forward developmentally is accomplished during playtime. Aside from naptime and eating, what other activity are children as enthusiastic about? The answer is play! Through work, adults learn to meet goals, set standards, and complete tasks.

Section #4

PETS FOR YOUR CHILD By the age of five, six, or seven, most children want their own pet or a family pet will do. What they really want is ownership of the pet. They are perfectly willing to share, but they like to lay claim on the ownership. While pet ownership is a good thing for a child, be warned…if your child gets a pet before the age of twelve, mom and dad you will be the caretaker!

The book is just another example of how Ms. Dooley continues to shine as an educator even after retirement.

The hard part for her in this endeavor is getting educated in the technology that is required to  publish digitally and show up in the search engines. That is where her partnership and formation of “Blast Off With Education”© comes into play. Welcome to the digital age Mrs. Dooley.
