Mrs. Dooley is well known throughout the public school system not only as a teacher but as the author of “Blast Off With Phonics™” (a systematic guide to teaching phonics published back in 1995). She wrote this book as a resource guide for parents, teachers and tutors in an effort to fill the void in the school curriculum in regards to teaching phonics.
