But very little is known about their impressive philanthropic work and relationship with Paz De Cristo.
Paz De Cristo is a non-profit organization based in Mesa that serves the needy with daily meal service and empowerment programs. The organization is dedicated to serving the community and treating everyone with respect and dignity irrespective of their background. Paz De Cristo collaborates with passionate volunteers to feed the hungry and help them with other basic necessities. Tom’s BBQ’s relationship with Paz De Cristo started over five years back when Tom’s team was looking for a way to help the community. Tom’s BBQ started donating Paz De Cristo with dinner every month and they still continue to do so. Every third Wednesday of every month, Tom’s BBQ donates fresh, delicious and hot meals to Paz De Cristo to serve the hungry and needy.
“It was Christmas and we wanted to help out our community in some way. We looked around and discovered Paz De Cristo. We offered to help them during the eve of Christmas and they informed us that they were blessed that holiday season, but asked if we could help in January. Of course I said ‘Yes’, I was excited and that’s how our relationship started. The staff members, volunteers and patrons at Paz De Cristo have been so kind to us. Tom’s BBQ feeds the hungry through Paz De Cristo with their award winning barbeque dishes. They also serve variety of other meals from their delicious menu. Tom’s BBQ team always looks forward to the month’s third Wednesday so they can be of help to the community. Their pink food truck called Tom’s Pig Rig is popular in Arizona as it goes around the area stocked with their best menu items. Tom’s BBQ also encourages people to volunteer at Paz De Cristo to help the organization effectively serve the community.
