Seven Awards For AMG Services Design Studio In Graphic Design USA’s In

Non-profit staffing and management solution provider, AMG Services, recently announced on their website the recent success of Creative Design, the AMG design studio, in Graphic Design USA’s annual competitions. For over 50 years, Graphic Design USA has organized design competitions that give a showcase platform to creative professionals, who enter the competition with the hope of gaining recognition from the design community. In the recently published announcement, the director of Creative Design, Teresa Gutsick, gave a comment about AMG’s entrance in to the competition, “This is a significant achievement for Creative Design,” she said. Teresa Gutsick said that the success of Creative Design was made possible by the “hard work and the great creative partnerships that we have with our clients and their staff members”.

The 2013 Graphic Design USA American Web Design Award competition saw over 1,400 entrants. Awards went to Creative Design for “NICSA Annual Conference & Expo Website Design”, “UE Systems Website Redesign”, and “AHAA Annual Conference Website Redesign (Mobile Responsive Website)”. The awards in the Web Design competition went to a select group of notable creative leaders, including Intel, Agfa, Johns Hopkins University, Habitat for Humanity, Microsoft and United Airlines.

There were nearly 4,000 entrants to the Graphic Design USA 2013 InHouse Design Award competition. Of these 4,000 entrants, only 15 percent were recognized for excellence. AMG’s awards in this competition were won by “NAA MeetUps Logo Series”, “NAFO 2012 Annual Report”, “AAA 2013 Annual Conference Collateral”, and “AAA 2013 Stars of Life Website”. The other companies that won awards in this competition included Lockheed Martin, 3M, Boeing, American Bar Association, Merrill Lynch, United Airlines and AARP.

The winning entries from AMG were produced by Creative Design’s Creative Director, Teresa Gutsick, and Creative Design’s Senior Graphic Designer, Derek Heilman. Of Teresa Gutsick’s 20 years of experience, she has spent 16 years doing graphic design exclusively for nonprofit organizations. Teresa’s work includes designs for websites, magazines, logos, newsletters, directories and brochures. Her experience began with her work towards her B.A. in Design from Virginia Tech. Senior Graphic Designer Derek Heilmann has worked for Creative Design for three years. Before that he designed for Liquidity Services Inc. and also worked as a freelancer. Derek holds a B.S. in Creative Advertising from the Virgina Commonwealth University.
