According to an article published recently on Gadgets Made Simple the unveiling by tuning firm German Special Customs (GSC) at Top Marques Monaco 2013 of the AMG Services CLS63 Stealth assembly kit turns the Mercedes performance vehicle into a true supercar.

The AMG CLS63 comes stock with a 536 horsepower 5.5 liter twin turbo V8 engine. The Stealth tuned car from German Special Customs brings the output of the AMG V8 engine up to 750 horsepower. The added horsepower brings the CLS63’s zero to sixty time down from 4.4 seconds to 3.7 seconds. Enhancements by German Special Customs include larger turbos, an additional water cooler to improve the performance of the charge air intercooler, and an improved exhaust system. AMG Services vehicles all ready come with a performance package that sets them in class above normal Mercedes cars, so German Special Customs did not need to outfit the car with a sports suspension package to enhance handling and performance, but the tuning firm did add an aluminum and carbon fiber spoiler and a central diffuser in an effort to improve the aerodynamics of the car.

In contrast to the stock offering from AMG Services, the German Special Customs Stealth features aggressive styling that stands apart from less flashy looking Mercedes automobiles. The German Special Customs Stealth is outfitted with a hood with aggressive cooling ducts, new fenders, new side skirts, a flat red paint job and black twenty inch wheels.

According to the recent Gadgets Made Simple article, the changes to the car’s body offer some performance advantages. Editors from Gadgets Made Simple say that the new cooling ducts on the Stealth help the performance of the larger twin turbos, and that the larger spoiler helps to create greater down force and high speeds, which aids the driver in controlling the cars in corners without having to over-break or deviate significantly from an optimal racing line. Editor from the site stated that the original car from AMG services was already exciting, but that the work of tuners like GSC help to push the boundaries of what is possible in street legal vehicles.
