In his 18th start in the USRA B-Mod Series, sixteen year old driver Mason Daughters claimed his first win after recently switching from karting to join the Level 5 Motorsports racing team. American Le Mans Series driver, Scott Tucker, and the entire Level 5 Motorsports team celebrated the victory on the dirt track.

Mason Daughters began racing karts in Kansas City when he was 13 years old and won the Liberty Cup in his first year of competition. After two months of experience, Daughters moved on to compete in the Karting Pro Series and was then noticed by Scott Tucker.

According to Level 5 Motorsports owner Scott Tucker, Mason Daughters is a natural racer, as exhibited by his quick acquisition of karting skills and his easy transition into dirt track racing. Tucker expects that Mason Daughters will win many more victories for the Level 5 Motorsports team and will continue progressing in his skills for many more years.

The recent first place finish for Mason Daughters took place at the US 36 Raceway in Osborn, Missouri. The No. 55 car driven by Daughters started in sixth position on the grid, after undergoing repairs for damage sustained during the preceding heat race. During the majority of the race, Mason Daughters held fourth place. The young driver gained second place after a caution and restart near the end of the race, and overtook the race leader in the final turn of the course to win the checkered flag.

According to Scott Tucker, sponsorship of young drivers is a successful strategy for Level 5 Motorsports that the team will continue to pursue in order to develop winning drivers to compete in the highest levels of motorsports.

Level 5 Motorsports has fielded successful entries in GT and Prototype classes in the American Le Mans Series, GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series, Ferrari Challenge Series, the Sports Car Club of America, IMSA GT3 Cup and Cooper Tires Prototype Lites since 2008. The team has competed throughout North America and Europe, extensively in Italy, France and Spain. Team owner and driver Scott Tucker has earned nine national championships and has more than 110 podium finishes and 90 victories in his driving career. The team competes in 2013 with sponsorship from Siemens, Alpina Watches, Honda Performance Development, Ohiya Casino Resort, Prairie Casino, Kennol, Selling Source, West Race Cars, Motorsport.com, Battery Tender and AlgOil. Level 5 is based in Madison, Wisconsin.
