(Newswire.net — November 11, 2013) Beoit, WI — FatWallet reports more than 55 Holiday Ads now reside in their Black Friday Deal Finder as of today, with more 40 ads related directly to 2013 Black Friday shopping event. Retail giants JC Penney, Meijer, Toys R Us and Macy’s have all made their Black Friday deals public for early shoppers to compare with current early sales. Other stores who have yet to leak their full ad, including Best Buy, Target, Walmart and Staples, are adopting a new marketing tactic of leaking teaser ads, or a sneak-peek small sample of some of their pricing on top trendy holiday gifts.

“The trend to release a few Black Friday doorbuster prices and hot sale items, a little at a time, is a popular tactic for major retailers this year,” stated Brent Shelton, FatWallet Shopping Expert. “This is good marketing for the stores, but also good for early shoppers who want to have something to compare prices, should they just decide to buy early and knock items off their holiday shopping lists.”

The top 10 most popular Black Friday deals on FatWallet.com as of Nov. 11, include:

  • Macy’s: $10 off $25 Purchase
  • Best Buy: Insignia 39” HDTV for $169.00 (was $249.99)
  • Target: $5 off $19 purchases on Lego and Monster High toys
  • Toys R Us: $10 Toys R Us gift card with $75 purchase
  • GameStop: Playstation Plus 1 yr. subscription for $29.99
  • Walmart: Playstation 4 (PS4) game console for #399
  • Sam’s Club: iPhone 5C or Samsung Galaxy S4 w/2 yr. contract just $.096
  • RadioShack: Toshiba Canvio 1.5TB portable hard drive $69.99
  • Fred’s: 20% off iTunes Gift Cards
  • Meijer: Apple iPad Mini $299 w/$80 off next Meijer purchase

FatWallet expects the majority of remaining Black Friday ads to become available for review by Nov. 18, which is trending a little bit later than in 2012, where the majority of ads had leaked by Nov. 15. They also expect more than 40,000 deals to be available for holiday shoppers (see all 2013 predictions).
